Touch-A-Life Foundation Announces Hero Award Winners for TAL Annual Day 2019
Third annual fundraising event open to the public; featuring unveiling of mobile TALGiving app, awards ceremony, Bollywood entertainment, local performers, and more.
November 12, 2019 — MILPITAS, Calif. — Touch-A-Life Foundation, a non-profit organization to support the needy and underprivileged, today announced the award winners for its Touch-A-Life Heroes 2019. The award recipients will be congratulated at the third TAL Annual Day fundraising event and banquet.

The TAL Hero award recipients for 2019 are:
- Garrett Jensen, Committee Co-Chair of the JDRF One Walk
- Dr. Aseem Shukla, Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
- Marion Campbell, Executive Director and Co-founder of Eddie’s House and The ABLE Center

In addition to celebrating TAL Heroes, TAL Annual Day 2019 will feature the launch of the TALGiving platform, a mobile-first social application for iOS and Android devices that will make it easier to facilitate donations between donor and donees. Entertainment will be provided by Bollywood musicians Sunitha, Deepu and Prudhvi Chandra, as well as a presentation on updates regarding Touch-A-Life Foundation’s annual activities for 2019. A full dinner and refreshment service will follow. TAL Annual Day 2019 is supported by both Solix Technologies and Emagia Corporation as charter members.
